About
** I am not accepting new clients at this time. **
Offering Telehealth therapy to individuals residing in California.
My boyfriend and I (right).
I received my M.S. in Clinical Psychology from CSUF in 2018, with a specialized thesis related to personality differences between monogamous and consensually non-monogamous individuals.
As a gay, cisgender male, I know how important it is to find a therapist that you feel will understand you. I consider myself to be very open-minded and I will do my best to try to understand you and your personal experiences, such as using your preferred gender pronouns and not making assumptions about your experiences. I want to provide an open and safe space for my clients to feel comfortable and validated.
I have extensive experience working with those who have struggled with various problem, such as difficulty with setting boundaries, managing mental health symptoms, navigating open relationships, questioning sexuality, etc.
Hoping That My Story Can Help Others
As a gay male who grew up in a very conservative household, I struggled with understanding my sexuality, which affected how I viewed the world and how I interacted with others. I often felt very lonely and struggled with symptoms of depression and anxiety due to not feeling like I could connect with others. I decided to seek out some much-needed support from a therapist to help process through my thoughts and feelings about my identity. This experience truly helped guide me through some difficult times and even sparked my desire to support others like my therapist had supported me. With this being said, I love to support my clients in whatever ways they may need, such as providing validation of their feelings, helping to learn and practice new skills, or helping to develop insight into their problems in order to make healthy changes.
